For us, La Santa is much more than a restaurant serving Catalan cuisine. Our restaurant in Ribes de Freser is located in a very special place, surrounded by the imposing wooded valleys and housed in the Angelats residence.
The restaurant is literally located inside the Angelats Church, built in 1936 in neo-Romanesque style in honour of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, where many of the authentic furnishings and materials still remain today. This church, built by the Batlló family as part of their residence, was never inaugurated, which allowed us to set up a gastronomic establishment in it: the La Santa restaurant.
La Santa restaurant offers a menu based on traditional local gastronomy, sustainability and quality. We are committed to Km0 products and environmentally friendly production methods. But not only that, we also want every guest to have an exceptional dining experience, which is why our team of professional chefs prepare each dish with culinary finesse, giving it a personal and unique touch.
What can you find in our menu?
For us, there is only one category in which we would place ourselves, and that is quality gastronomy. That is our claim, which is why everything we process in our kitchens is carefully prepared so that the taste reaches the highest quality.
Nevertheless, we want to offer a menu with gastronomic options for everyone, respecting the culture and tradition of our land, as befits a restaurant in Ribes de Freser. That is why we prepare recipes inspired by traditional Catalan gastronomy, with a touch of freshness and innovation. We also firmly believe that taking good care of your body is an important part of personal well-being.
